Upcoming Training Session With GeoAdvice Engineering

Interested in hydraulic modeling of water distribution and sewer collection systems? Join GeoAdvice and Dr. Werner de Schaetzen, P. Eng., for one of our training courses with the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia (EGBC) in 2026. Participants will gain hands-on experience with hydraulic modeling software in addition to learning the basics of hydraulic theory and capacity analysis! Participation in either training course earns credits toward your annual Continuing Education (CE) Program. The upcoming training courses are:

Tuesday, October 27, 2026 – Webinar
Hydraulic Modelling of Water Distribution Systems Using EPANET

This training introduces the fundamentals of hydraulic theory and water distribution modelling, then explores advanced topics such as model calibration, scenario analysis, pump selection, energy studies, fire flow analysis, and water quality. Participants use EPANET to apply concepts through practical exercises.

Friday, November 27, 2026 – Webinar
Hydraulic Modelling of Sewer Collection Systems Using EPASWMM

The sewer collection modelling training provides a comprehensive learning experience, beginning with fundamental hydraulic theory and progressing to advanced topics such as scenario analysis, model calibration, and dry and wet weather flow analysis. Through interactive, hands-on workshops using EPASWMM, participants will develop the skills needed to build, analyze, and optimize sewer collection system models for a variety of real-world applications.
